Real life is not a leaflet.

Practical support for brain health, MCI, dementia risk reduction and family dementia care.

Most people know the advice: move more, sleep better, eat well, reduce stress and stay connected.

But when memory changes, MCI, dementia risk or caring responsibilities enter your life, it can be hard to know where to start.

This is not about blame, pressure or doing everything perfectly. It is about small, realistic, doable steps that help you feel more informed, more supported, more in control and less alone.

Real life is not always simple. You may be tired, anxious, busy, caring for someone, dealing with pain, managing family worries, or overwhelmed by too much information.

That is where I can help.

I work with individuals and families to make sense of the evidence and turn it into a practical, personalised plan that fits real life — your routines, your motivation, your barriers, your challenges, your family, and most importantly, your hopes.

This is not about blame, pressure, or doing everything perfectly.

It is about small, realistic, doable steps that help you feel more informed, more supported, more in control and less alone.

You may be wondering…

  • Is this normal ageing or something more?

  • What does MCI actually mean for daily life?

  • What can I realistically do to support my brain health?

  • How do I help someone I love without becoming overwhelmed myself?

  • How do I turn all the advice into something I can actually do?

All appointments are online. You will receive a video-call link after booking.

Individual Brain Health Plan

For people who are worried about their brain health, living with MCI, concerned about dementia risk, or finding it difficult to turn health advice into everyday action.

This may be helpful if you are asking:

“What should I focus on first?”
“How do I reduce my dementia risk in a realistic way?”
“I know what I should be doing, but how do I actually make it happen?”
“How do I talk to my GP or health professional about my concerns?”

Introduction individual session
£120.00

Introduction individual session

A one-off online session to help you talk through your concerns, understand what may be getting in the way, and decide what kind of support will be most useful.

Together, we will look at:

  • your main worries or questions

  • your current lifestyle, routines and health background

  • what you are already doing for your brain health

  • what feels difficult, overwhelming or unrealistic

  • your motivation, priorities and goals

  • possible next steps

By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of where to start, what may help, and whether further personalised support will be useful.

*This is not a diagnosis or medical assessment. It is a supportive, practical conversation to help you understand where to start.

Three-session individual plan
£395.00

Three-session individual plan

The three-session package is different from the introduction session because it gives us time to go deeper, create a personalised brain health plan, and review how that plan works in real life.

Session 1: Understanding your situation

We talk through your concerns, lifestyle, routines, health background, barriers and challenges, motivation and goals.

Session 2: Creating your personalised brain health plan

We build a practical plan around areas such as sleep, movement, food, stress, social connection, brain stimulation, confidence, health checks and questions for your GP or health professionals.

Session 3: Review and next steps

We review the implementation of your plan, look at what feels realistic, what needs adjusting, and what your next small steps should be.

By the end of the three sessions, you will have a clearer, more personalised plan that fits your life, rather than general advice that feels difficult to follow.

Family Dementia Guidance

For families who are supporting someone with dementia, adjusting after a diagnosis, or trying to understand what to do next.

This may be helpful if you are asking:

“What do we do now?”
“How do we support Mum, Dad, or a spouse?”
“How do we manage stress, routines, appointments, family disagreements, or changes in behaviour?”
“How do we make decisions without feeling alone or overwhelmed?”

Introduction family session
£150.00

Introduction family session

A one-off online session for families who are trying to understand what support may be needed after memory changes, MCI, dementia diagnosis, or concerns about brain health.

This session gives you space to talk through what is happening, what feels difficult, and what each person may need.

Together, we will look at:

  • what is currently happening in the family

  • the main worries, questions or challenges

  • how memory changes or dementia risk may be affecting daily life

  • what support is already in place

  • where communication, routines or expectations may need adjusting

  • practical next steps for the family

By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of where to start, what may help, and whether further personalised support will be useful.

*This is not a diagnosis or medical assessment. It is a supportive, practical conversation to help you understand where to start.

Three-session family plan
£395.00

Three-session family plan

The three-session package is different from the introduction session because it gives the family more time to understand the situation, talk through difficult areas, and create realistic ways to support the person and each other.

Session 1: Understanding the family situation

We talk through what is happening, what has changed, who is involved, what feels most difficult, and what support is already in place.

Session 2: Creating a practical family support plan

We look at areas such as communication, routines, appointments, meaningful activity, family roles, stress, carer overwhelm, and questions for the GP, memory clinic or other professionals.

Session 3: Review and next steps

We review what feels realistic, what needs adjusting, where the family may need more support, and what the next small steps should be.

By the end of the three sessions, you will have a plan. Your family will have a clearer understanding of what may help, how to move forward, and how to support each other in a more practical and compassionate way.

Ongoing Support
from £65.00

Ongoing Support

After the initial plan, some people ask for ongoing support so they have space to review progress, talk through challenges, and adjust the plan as life changes.

30-minute monthly check-in: £65
60-minute monthly support session: £120

This can help with accountability, encouragement, problem-solving and adjusting the plan as life changes.

Workshops, talks and training

I deliver talks, workshops and training sessions for communities, charities, universities, conferences, workplaces and health-related organisations.

Sessions can be adapted for different audiences, including community members, families, carers, professionals, students and organisations who want to understand dementia risk reduction and brain health in a practical, accessible way.

Topics can include:

  • Brain health and dementia risk reduction

  • Menopause, brain health and dementia risk reduction

  • Mild cognitive impairment and what people can do after diagnosis

  • Behaviour change and why health advice is often difficult to follow

  • Supporting families and carers after memory changes or dementia diagnosis

  • Health literacy, prevention and inequalities

  • Culturally sensitive dementia prevention and community engagement

  • Practical ways to turn evidence into everyday action

My workshops are warm, evidence-informed and grounded in real life. They are designed to help people leave with a clearer understanding, practical ideas, and realistic steps they can use straight away.
