Three-session family plan

Three-session family plan

The three-session package is different from the introduction session because it gives the family more time to understand the situation, talk through difficult areas, and create realistic ways to support the person and each other.

Session 1: Understanding the family situation

We talk through what is happening, what has changed, who is involved, what feels most difficult, and what support is already in place.

Session 2: Creating a practical family support plan

We look at areas such as communication, routines, appointments, meaningful activity, family roles, stress, carer overwhelm, and questions for the GP, memory clinic or other professionals.

Session 3: Review and next steps

We review what feels realistic, what needs adjusting, where the family may need more support, and what the next small steps should be.

By the end of the three sessions, you will have a plan. Your family will have a clearer understanding of what may help, how to move forward, and how to support each other in a more practical and compassionate way.
